Time

After a day of frustrations, I was watching my 6 year old and wondered, "When did he get so big?" He used to be this short, chubby baby with rolls on rolls. Now he is this tall, thin boy who can reach the sick without tip toes. His chin comes over the counter and he can see what is going on. Of course he still needs a step stool to turn the faucet on, but he doesn't need help to reach the sink. He helps prepare meals and cleans the table after dinner. He sweeps and mops. He gathers...

Homeschool

We started our homeschooling journey 6 and a half months ago, July 25th of 2016. I have learned that it is frustrating, there are days that you just don't want to do it, then there are times that you can get it all done in 30 min (Kindergarten), there are days that we field trip and take notes, and then we just don't get to it. Old time Game Rooms

A local chain store has brought back the game room. You know, the quarter machines we used to play as kids. Like the "claw grabber", packman , or even the horse that went nowhere. We would stick a quarter in and play until we got something or we ran out of quarters. It brought up memories, questions, and worries.
